Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone or knew someone who majored in engineering and business anywhere for their undergrad. At umich, I got into engineering and Ross and was thinking about taking 5 years to do both degrees. Is it worth it?

Nah, you can’t be an engineer and a xxx at the same time. Why study both? Don’t know about Mich but, in general, industrial engineering is the combination of business/engineering studies. Maybe you should major in that instead. Remember, the fifth year is one year waisted, in terms of $$$ and the opportunity cost.

Waste of money to do engineering and business. Just do engineering and CFA.

A friend of mine at Purdue did a Mechanical Engineering degree program. That was five years. He graduated after five years with a BS in ME and a MBA. He is currently unemployed because he has no experience.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA 5 year MBA program.

Ross is boss. Fine school. I’m sure you’ll succeed no matter what; gl.
