I m wondering is it possible to double major in Art and Communication study? as they are from the two different college...

You would have to deal with that after you get in. As Comm is impacted, I suggest getting in there first and then dealing with the art. You could put art in as alternate but that might throw you out of Comm and I think you might have a near impossible time getting into Comm once you get to UCLA.

If you’re majoring in art and trying to double major in comm, it’s not going to happen.

I ended up dropping art as a major, based on the odds of getting in as a transfer. It’s overwhelmingly against you. I spoke to a couple art majors and UCLA in particular really tries to bring in as many freshmen as possible to develop them from the beginning. Just keep in mind the admit rate for art transfers is about 12%. Out of 200 applicants, 25 were admitted last Fall.

And you want to add comm to that? Man, you couldn’t have picked two tougher majors to transfer into at UCLA. Comm is about 13% and you need to have over a 3.8 to stand a chance.

Would this stand true for History as well? Adding History as a major post-transfer?
