I have looked all over Georgetown's site to find out some information about double majoring between schools. I realize that it is impossible to do with SFS, but I am wondering about the others, specifically MSB and the college. I have heard you can and that you can't. I looked at the employment surveys for both schools and I couldn't find a single person who had a major from the two different schools.

So I'm looking for a definitive answer, can it be done?

Answer is yes, you can in both the College and MSB.

In the college you can double major freely picking between any of the majors in the college, and in MSB you can double major in a business concentration and a college major.

Thanks jdelavalle.
Also, does anyone know how hard this is to do? And I'm assuming this means you have to fulfill the core requirements for both schools.

i think some people might tell you that you can do one major in the college and one in the msb but you actually can't.

i was originally a biochem major in the college and wanted to double in either finance or management but its almost impossible because if you're not in the business school then you get last priority in getting into classes offered by the business school. the business school likes to keep their classes small too so if you can't get into the classes then its going to be very hard to get in all the requirements you need to finish the major there. it also sucks that the business school doesnt offer any minors or certificates so there is no way to make a compromise.

i did manage to combine my interest in science and business though.. i'm now in the NHS and majoring in health management & policy and doing pre-med and minoring in chemistry in the college.

Unfortunately you can't cross school major, so you can't double something in MSB with something in COL. You can major in business and minor in the college, but not double major outside of MSB.

to the extent my knowledge, I know that for sure the FLL allows a minor in business, but I'm not sure about the other major options in the COL =]

So as a French major I would for sure be able to minor in business? The website was a little unclear on how this works, so I just want to doublecheck. . .
