Double Major For Computer Science?

I have a huge mental problem right here, please help me.

I wanted to major in computer science because I love the impact it has on society. People always say, "Science & Technology" goes together. However in this case, it does not.

Computer Science involves very very little science e.g. Physics, instead it goes well with Mathematics, yet Mathematics, at it's purest form, does not relate to reality and does not have direct impact on society.

Even Google supports scientific research like Google Science Fair but it does not support any mathematical research, not even in applied math fields.

I'm troubled, What should I do? Should I stick with one major (CS)?

However when I hear people say computer science is a branch of mathematics, I feel weird and incomplete, it's like my education is missing a foundation.

Any valuable insights are valued, thank you.

I think you don’t know the difference between “science” and “natural science.”

Computer Science is not a science. It’s applied mathematics.

I don’t know why you’re so caught up on the “science” thing.
Lot’s of cutting-edge research and development is being done through computer science.
