double major in accounting and CIT?

Hi, I wanted your opinions on something. I'm currently pursuing my bachelors degree as an accounting major and I was thinking about also adding a CIT major. I know I'll need 150 credits to sit for the CPA exam anyway, not sure if I even want to be a CPA yet but I think it would be nice to have the extra credits in case I decide to go after it. I'm just trying to make myself more marketable and I know education isn't the only thing potential employers will look at but obviously its something they will consider if I'm applying. I'm not sure what kind of job I want when I graduate, I just know that I have a love for both accounting and computers. Most seem to say that a computer science degree is better than a CIT degree but many more of my credits will transfer into the CIT degree so that's why I would go with that one.

What do you guys think, would it be a good idea to double major in accounting and computer information technology? Would it make me more marketable?

And any other insight that you can throw in is always appreciated, thank you!

Yes! Do it if you can. If you can even specialize if some sort of cybersecurity, all the better. (for Internal control audits) It will put you a head of the pack. GL
