So I applied to CALS with AEM as my 1st choice and Information Science as my 2nd choice, and I got into Information Science. How hard would it be for me to double major in AEM? I checked the requirements to double major and they don't seem too hard, but would my schedule be really constricted with the two requirements of the two majors?

I don't think it will be too hard. When you get your advisor assignment in the summer, you should e-mail him/her to make adjustments to your schedule. You should also express your concern about the work load. You might not be able to do your Junior Year abroad in order to satisfy your requirements, but that's not a big deal.

remember, even to get into AEM as a double major you still have to apply for the program again. when i visited, an AEM student said that it is very hard/competitive to get into AEM as a student in a different major at Cornell---many people try to do that.

I think i'm just going to try to get a minor in AEM because it doesn't look too difficult.
