Double major in biological/enviornmental engineering worth it?

Currently a biological engineer, but been developing an interest towards environmental engineering as well. I looked at the department's website and a surprisingly amount of credits overlap between the 2 fields. I'd have to take only about 20 more credits (which imo, is a bargain) to get the 2nd degree. This would mean I'd have to stay an extra semester/year and a delay at employment, but I wanted to hear some feedback to see if it's worth it or not. Thanks in advance.

Edit: With just bioE, I'd be graduating in 4 years. With the extra major, It would probably take an extra 1 sem min, 2 sems max.
