I want to be a doctor but I've always thought about being a writer. I really want to major in Neuroscience but I've also been thinking about majoring in creative writing because it's always interested me. Should I consider double majoring or would it be too much and settle on minoring in one of them. If so, which should I minor in. I'm thinking creative writing.

I have almost the same problem! I’ve always wanted to be a writer, but my parents shut that down quick So instead of majoring in creative writing, I’m majoring in psychology and minoring in neuroscience.

Anyway, if you love creative writing and you think you can handle the work, (cause there is a LOT of writing!) then double major! If not then minor :)

Thanks for the quick response. Bummer, I say if that’s what you want to do then go for it. The will to want to write has never left me so if you still have it don’t let it die. Yeah, a lot of writing plus a lot of studying, I’m not sure how well I could handle it. Thanks for the input.
