<p>I am intended to major in physics in the college of art and science, while double major in computer engineering in the college of engineering. In this case, do I write to intended ,major essays or I can just choose one of them to write?</p>

<p>I don’t know much about the engineering or CALS, but can you major across colleges? I know in HumEc you can’t, which is why I ask.</p>
<p>Engineering and CAS have a dual degree program…but that’s different from double major. You have to take 150 credits to graduate (vs 120) and I believe you must also fulfill graduation requirements for both colleges.</p>
<p>I think its only possible between majors in Engineering, CAS and AAP. My thoughts are that the contract college aspect of CALS, HumEc, and ILR make it not possible to double major outside of those schools. And the specialized nature of the Hotel school probably prevents people from doing dual degrees there…but I’m not sure about that one.</p>
<p>But doing a dual degree is pretty hard, almost guaranteed you’d be at cornell 5 years.</p>
