How useful is a double major in economics and commerce? I would be getting a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts, and it will be at the University of Toronto. The Commerce one isn’t specifically finance or accounting, you just take a selection of random courses from the commerce department. I want to get an MBA after, also from U of T.
Will that be good enough to get me into Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, etc? And also, what kind of positions could I be holding, even if not in those top companies?
Commerce degrees are referred to as B.Com at U of T. You can’t do double degrees at U of T.
