<p>I am thinking about doing a double major in these two subjects. Should I go to ASU or U of A? Also, what types of job prospects would I get with these degrees and is an MBA a good choice after a few years? Basically, what am I getting into by majoring in econ/mathematics (statistics)?</p>

<p>it depends on what you are trying to do with your degrees. grad school? research? banking? im double majoring in econ and math but contemplating either a pure or applied concentration. do some reading on possible careers that interest you…and then make an assessment. you could also speak with some professors.</p>
<p>Well I would like to get into an Operations Research or a Financial Engineering (possibly a combination of those two or similar programs) program at grad school. </p>
<p>Would Double Majoring in Econ and Stat (Concentration in Accounting) be good majors for those programs?</p>
