Guys, if you get accepted into Kenan Flagler as a freshman you get a BA degree. But can you double major? Like Business Adminstration from Kenan Flagler and then a minor in something like english from another school?

chainz: I'm thinking that you don't get into Kenan Flagler as a freshman, but actually apply to major there in your sophomore year. I believe there are a number of prerequisites you need to take to prepare for doing so. Check out this link, which gives you a description of how to go about that:

I suspect you could double-major, if you have the time. Double majors are certainly allowed at UNC. You can also have a major and a minor, which you might find a little easier than double-majoring, given the number of requirements to fulfill for a major in the business school.

alright, I see. Many Thanks

Also...undergrads get a BSBA...Bachelor of Science in Business Administration...and you can add one of the following concentrations: finance, marketing, entrepreneurial studies and international business.

but the concentrations wouldnt be comparable to a minor would it?

My friend is currently a freshman and is double-majoring in business and a pre-med major (I forget which science exactly)

He said the courseload is very vigorous, but he got a 3.9 last semester.

UNC this past year now allows students to 2 majors and a minor or 1 major and 2 minors if they please to do so but it's a lot of work. You can only get into the business school through the application process after your sophmore year. A business major has a lot of requirements but you could major in something else and minor is business. If you minor in business you still have to go through the application process to get into the Kenan-Flagler school.

Actually, the business school recommends you get a second major or minor...
