I was wondering if it is possible to double major in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering at UC Berkeley. If it is, is it a suggestible course of action in terms of course load and difficulty?</p>

<p>Possible. But I would double major in ME/MaterialScience or EE/Physics.</p>
<p>EE Minor while doing ME major is quite common and not too much extra work.
It’s better to major in one or the other with an emphasis on the other field b/c there are too many courses required by either major to finish it in 4 years.</p>

<p>Yeah it’s possible, one of my friends is doing it, but he’s taking an extra semester to do it since he doesn’t want to overload on the number of units he has to take each semester.</p>
