Hey everyone, I've got a few questions about major requirements at UIUC. I'm in a CC right now, and hoping to transfer to UIUC after getting my associates. I'm a physics major right now, and planning on transferring as a double major in mathematics and physics...plus a minor in either computer science or philosophy. Will I run into any problems with my plans? I've scoured the different articulation guides, and I've set up a course plan at my CC to get all of my required lower level courses finished here. I'll have Calc I, II, and III...plus Calc Physics I, II, and III completed. As well as a year of general chemistry, and a calculus based computer science class for science and engineering. Additionally, I'll have almost my entire gened curriculum completed...but I'll only have a year of foreign language done. So, aside from an additional year of a foreign language, and the few required in-house geneds at UIUC (advanced composition...western/non-western studies) I'll be able to focus almost entirely on my major(s).

Does this sound like a doable plan? I really want to go into astrophysics, so I'm mainly interested in the physics major with the astrophysics concentration. There is a decent amount of course overlap between the physics and math majors...and I wouldn't really have to take any extra supporting math classes for the computer science minor. Are there any potential snags I should be keeping in mind?
