<p>Does anybody know if it's possible to a have a double major or at least a minor at Cornell from two different colleges. For example, if I majored in something within the engineering school, would I be able to minor in something from CAS?</p>

<p>No, you can't have a minor from a different college. However, if you were in the College of Engineering, you could potentially complete a dual degree which is an extra hard double major, one from the CoE and one from the CAS. Most students have to stay an extra year, and it's very tough and extremely structured, and you have to complete all the core requirements for both colleges.</p>
<p>since engineering is more structured, how many classes from other colleges would you be able to take, if they do not count toward your intended major in engineering?</p>
