Double Major + minor?

I want to be a polyglot...but I know I should also make myself marketable so international relations is a must for me. Hunter college has a Romance Language major so I could take Spanish and French within one major. Then I could double major with international relations. But I am alsovery interested in German and randomly japanese...is there any way I could fit these into my major?

You could try a linguistics major or minor?

IMO multiple majors and minors are overrated. The don’t mean much later for work or grad school, but they require that you take additional required coursework.

Why not just do your RL major and then take the courses that interest you in IR, German and Japanese?

If you just want to learn the languages, you do not need to take all of them during your study to a bachelor’s degree. You can defer the more common ones until later and take them at a community college.

You can also look at schools where many students have double or even TRIPLE majors like Brandeis University…
