double major music and bio / possible?

yay since this is THE only school i got accepted too (pretty happy though) i guess i'm going to NWU for sure or if all else fails go to UC Irvine. however, i got accepted to their double major program for music and bio, so i was wondering about the transportation. my friend who applied 5 years ago said that it was physically possible to travel from the science building to the music building in one day, and that the two programs / course work is godly hard. can anyone clarify this? i got a big scholarship from the music program and i don't want to lose out on this opportunity if this isn't feasible. and is the music program really good over there? (piano and percussion) i've seen the marching band, but that's basically all i've heard of the school. thanks anyone

If you schedule a class right after another, you have ten minutes to walk from one to another (a "1-hr" class is actually 50 mins long). 10 mins should be enough (though barely) for you to walk between music school and bio building.

One of my former classmates did chemE/music; while bio isn't easy, it's not as tough as chemE. So it is obviously possible, just a matter of if you want to commit yourself to it.

As for the music school, Yes. It is very very good. I think it's supposed to be the number one non-conservatory music school in the nation. Congrats on getting in!

Yes. The Music School is one of the best. It's like asking if Harvard is any good at academics.

hey, this is what i want to do! conducting/composing and premed stuff. though for premed, i was originally wanting to major in biology but with the chemistry program so strong at NW, do you think i should switch to that? I enjoyed AP bio and AP chem pretty equally.
