Double Major Of CS and SE help

I was interested in both cyber security and software engineering and i thought that as a dual major it would look good for a security software development firm. I am interested in the creation of security software and would like the engineering side to help me with the software creation and the cyber security to help me with the IT knowledge

Don’t do it. Those majors are nothing short of redundant. You can go into software engineering with a CS major; take a software engineering class or two if you really want to. You’ll be fine with just CS, plus it’s more broad so you can do other aspects of CS besides SE.
