Oh before I ask my simple question, is there an accounting major at UCLA or is it just business economics? For my real question: I know this is a weird combination, but I'm just asking out of curiosity. How hard would it be if you double major chemistry/accounting (or biz econ if thats what it is)? Please answer the question instead of asking me why I chose this combination in particular

It's really difficult to choose majors that are so different. There's no accounting major but there is a minor. There are a lot of BizEcon people who minor in accounting as well. As for double-majoring, I think you should go with the courses for your primary major and then take a couple of science classes (some will satisfy your science GE requirements) and see how that goes.

I have some questions about multiple majors too:
Is there a certain time period that you have to declare a double (or triple?!) major? I read a post on LJ about a person who completed the requirements for his second major but Murphy Hall did not let him graduate with it because he did not (declare or petition?) in time for the label. Also, is it mostly impossible to triple-major? I have two majors that overlap heavily and well, I don't mind going to summer school and taking 4 classes every quarter since I like them all. I'm thinking the Murphy Hall bureaucrats would breath down my neck for just barely going over 216(?) for a double. At least, the majors I'm considering DO have a unifying [force] between them and will prepare me for my specific plans for graduate school.
