I’m a first year at UC Santa Cruz going towards a psychology major
recently i had a change of heart and now i want to go back home to a local community college and then transfer somewhere from there.
Along with my decision to change schools I also started wondering if it were possible to double major in psychology and theatre, along with a minor in business? Does anyone have any experiences with that?
Are there any schools that would allow that?
Or should i just skip psychology and double major in business and theatre?
Please help any advice is gladly received
I guess the question is, why do you want to do this?
Doing this after a transfer from a CC would be difficult. A theater major is usually pretty time-intensive because of performances and workshops, and perhaps private sessions. You’d only have 2 years to squeeze in all of the major requirements for both majors, let alone a minor.
So I think that you should pick one major, and then perhaps a minor. Or you could just take as many classes as possible in a second field.
Psychology is my first option, and I’m really interested in theater but I think I should just stick to psychology and perhaps a theatre major. I wanted to do add in business because I wanted to have some kind of background in it in case I wanted to start my own business, but yes it like so much to do in a limited time to do.
