I'm very interested in politics and definitely plan on studying it but I want to make the most of my time at school and want to get as much out of it as I can. I'm interested in economics and I wanted to know if it seemed like a good idea or not. Is it employable? Is it do able? What can I actually do with each of those degrees?

I have the same questions about my college decisions. I plan to double major in both Poly Sci and Economics in order to keep as many doors open as possible. Currently, options that stand out to me are law school or joining a brokerage. To be honest, I am clueless and could really use the same kind of help.

Economics is more employable than poli sci. However, if you have an interest in poli sci, you almost have to have an interest in econ. Government spending is around 40% of GDP. Econ will keep more job doors open. Also, econ will give help enhance your analytic skills. The beautiful things about a liberal arts degree (as opposed to engineering and business) is it give you a chance to get that double major. Go for it.
