Double major possible at Cornell?

Is double major possible at Cornell, Particularly Electrical Engineering with Physics? I am a prospective transfer student into soph year btw. Thanks alot!

Bump...........

It's possible, but you are really getting ahead of yourself. You need to get accepted as a transfer, and see what courses will be accepted. Are you currently in an engineering program? This page might have some relevant info:
<a href="http://www.physics.cornell.edu/physics/undergradstudies/transfer.credit.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.physics.cornell.edu/physics/undergradstudies/transfer.credit.html</a></p>

I am currently double majoring EE/Physics. The subjects I am taking at the moment are:

Electrical Circuits 1
Physics B
Math A
Intro to Programming

I will be taking these by the time i transfer to Cornell

Applied Maths
Digital systems
Digital Systems 2
Electrical Circuits 2
Quantum Mechanics & Thermal Physics
Vector Analysis

When I apply for a double major, what faculty do I apply for? I dont think I can apply to both, unless if I am wrong.

I don't have the answer for you, but it seems like you have to start with the college of engineering. Try contacting them with your questions.

You want to double major in physics and electrical engineering!? Are you a genius? Do you like seeing the light of day? I get tired just thinking about your future. I am impressed by your ambition.

The cornell engineering webpage should contain all the information you need. You just need to decipher all those 500 page .pdf files.

Well see the deal is, I like physics more than engineering, but the job market for engineering is better than for physics. I plan to pospone this decision of choosing between the two until when I have to apply for graduate school, by doing a double major of the two. It would give me more option.
