<p>You might see those two majors and wonder why..Well, I asked my adviser if it was realistically possible to do those two majors and was told yes. My rationale was that Computer Science and anything technology related is going to progressively become even more important than it is as of now while International Relations is of the greatest interest to me. </p>
<p>But as an incoming freshman I wanted some input from real life students on this potential approach...</p>
<p>Usually it is possible to major in two subjects that have nothing to do with each other. How hard or easy that is depends mostly on the requirements of your college.</p>
<p>My practical advice would be not to think that you are going to major in computer science until you have taken at least two courses in it. Why? Because after reading your rationale for the double-major, I am not sure if you are aware of what a computer science majors entails... (I hope you like math and physics!)</p>
