Right now I am transfering to a 4 year school after completing a 2 year program in criminal justice. I need to choose what my major is going to be for the 4 year school but cannot decide. I can either complete a justice studies BA or get an athletic training BA. I have been going over my options for months and am running extremely short on time to decide. I was thinking of doing a double major (I know these subjects couldn't be more opposite), at least for the first year just to try out both and then switch to one after the first year, but I'm not sure. Any suggestions?

You’re right, those are two pretty unrelated options. I’m assuming you don’t know at this point whether you want to go into a job in the criminal justice or athletic field… figuring that out would make things a lot easier obviously. Normally I’d suggest taking classes in both majors to see which you prefer, but you say you’ve spent 2 years in a criminal justice program already. How’d you like it? If you’re not sure, I guess it makes sense to try taking classes in both as long as you have time to do so and graduate on schedule.
