Any of the current students have any input on how possible it is to double major in unrelated fields (say a social and a natural science)...i started looking into major requirements (neuroscience and poli sci in particular) and it seems feasible based on the avg number of classes per semester and my AP credits etc...is this suicide or is it possible?

It is possible. But a word of warning, most of the science majors at JHU are difficult and double majoring adds to the difficulty. I have a couple of friends who are double majoring in BME and IR though.

wow thats impressive...as i noted in my OP, im looking at neuro and poli sci as a possibility, and i worked it out a few different ways, since poli sci only requires 13 classes over the 4 years, it seems pretty doable for me, especially with my AP Bio (5) and hopefully good calc and chem AP grades this year...i know, neuro/poli sci, odd combo lol but its what im interested in

yeh i'm in the same case, i'm thinking of majoring in neuroscience/poli sci (or philosophy) but i'm not sure if neuro is going to be an overwhelming load itself...

hey miamigirl, i think we spoke one time on AIM about it right? at a chat or something? if you want, IM me anytime (unforunately, i kind of lost your SN if i ever had it) at AOBSynapse if you wanna talk since we might be seeing a lot of eachother next year lol...anyway, poli sci only requires 13 courses and im already pretty solid at neuroscience because of my experience, im hoping i wont be overwhelmed
