I was planning on double majoring in the University of Michigan and getting a BBA in Business and a BS in Bimolecular science. How hard is it to double major at the university? Will I be able to complete my education in four years or will it require me to stay for five. Just wondering if this is a common thing that people do. Lastly, I also wanted to know if a double major gives me any advantage when looking for careers or should I only stick to one major (Business)?
You would probably be better served by going Ross for grad school and getting your bachelors in the field you wish to pursue. A bachelor in business won’t get you a job in the industry you want to be in, where as an mba carries a lot more cache if you want to work in the business side of the thing you are passionate about. I would consider getting done with your bachelors as quick as possible, get a job and then go back and pursue a masters that makes sense.
