Double Major?

I really like Georgetown but I couldn't figure out from their website if I could double major in Economics & Mathematics. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes, I know lots of people who double major in economics and mathematics

The major rule for double majoring at georgetown is that you CANNOT double major between schools (example, you can't major in both Math and Culture & Politics)

In the College, you can double major in any two departments. Good luck double majoring with one of them as a science, though, (including math) because those degrees have more required courses. Most people do not just have a major...they either have a double major or at least one minor.

In the MSB, I would say most students double major with one quantitative and one qualitative discipline (ex. Accounting & Management)

The SFS and NHS you can't double major, but you can get Certificates (the equivalent to a minor) in any of the other majors in your school + other more specific certificate programs. These certificate programs are NOT limited to your school (A Math major in the College can get an International Health Certificate from NHS)

In general, any major in the College is available as a MINOR to any Georgetown student, regardless of school.

There are additional opportunites and limitations, but these are the general rules.

In the College, you are allowed to have two majors and one minor, or one major and two minors. This doesn't include certificates or pre-med.
