How hard is it to double major in Architecture and Civil Engineering? Is it better to major in Civil Engineering and minor in Architecture, than to double major?

What are your goals?

Architecture majors spend as much time in the studio as music majors spend in the practice rooms, and engineering majors don't have a ton of free time between problem sets, either. There's virtually no crossover in terms of coursework. You'd basically be doubling your time in school. There's not a ton of marketability for having both, either. What's your motivation for wanting to pursue both fields? Might be able to guide you a bit better if I knew the thinking behind that idea.

At my undergrad alma mater, architecture was wicked hosing in terms of requirements, one of the tougher ones to double major in.
