Double Major

I am interested in both civil and environmental engineering. How common is it for undergraduate students to double major in both?

its certainly not uncommon, especially if you want to do “green” engineering or engineer waste-things.

Many schools have the two departments combined, and if this is the case, you wouldn’t be double majoring. Just take as many courses as you want to in the areas that interests you since they’re all in the same department.

I’ve seen only a few schools where environmental engineering has its own department.

I know at Cornell you have to do both.
