<p>When is the time to declare another major? </p>

<p>I'm currently going to get a degree from the Bienen School, but I also want to major in RTVF from the School of Communications. Do I email the dean of that school and let them know I want to major in RTVF now, or do I wait until school actually starts?</p>

<p>you don’t actually have to declare a major until the end of your sophomore year I believe. But it helps if you do contact someone in the RTVF department for more info because I think you need to be a RTVF major to enroll in some of the classes. Hope that helps!</p>
