So I've been going over the options of what to study at UVA, and I think I may go for a double major in Biology and Commerce, assuming I am able to gain entrance into McIntire. What do you all think about this? Is it doable? If I decide to go to Medical School will I have hurt myself my double majoring?
Thanks in advance!

That is a tough idea. Comm School you only get 1-2 electives (total) after your 2nd year (you take something called ICE block which is 12 credits a semester, plus other comm classes) so you would have to fulfill the Bio major in your first two years with your college general ed requirements plus premed requirements. It would be more feasible to fulfill the premed requirements in your first two years, and you get into Comm school just take a few bio electives and if not do the bio major then.
