Double Majoring engineering and business

i talked to some of the ppl at the schools and they said it would take 5 years to do this ?? I hear from friends that its possible in 4. How long does it really take at most schools

it will probably depend on the school. Some schools, like upenn, have accelerated joint-degree programs that make it easier to get both a business degree and engineering degree. penn's dual-degree program is also manageable, but might require ap credits or summer classes.

if youre hoping to double major in business and engineering, the key is planning. youre going to have to take more classes per semester than the average student, but it can be done in 4 years if you plan your classes correctly.

There are some schools that offer what is said to be a 4-year program, often called engineering management or the like. Looking at the course list, you will be taking very litttle except engineering and business courses. I think RPI is one such school, Morehouse is another, also Lehigh and the University of Vermont. Look for a thread in last year's archive by Anovice that discusses some of these programs.
They don't look easy by any means.
