Is it possible to double major in art and, say, English? I understand that you can apply to one school only, so how would that work? Can you major in something at one school and minor in another subject in a different school (LSA and the Art school)?

Yes, it is possible to double major in two schools. I myself am double majoring in the bschool and LSA. And yes, you can do major/minor in two schools. Note that you'll have a home school. For example, the Bschool is my home school, so I pay tuition to them (it's more than LSA) and a lot of other stuff is done through the Bschool. If you have scholarships in a given school, it can become very complicated.

Double majoring sounds better then it is. If you have two interests, then major in one and take classes in the other. If you want to take all the classes in the second subject to qualify for a major, then go ahead. However, if some of the requirements for a major aren't courses that you feel passionate about, forget about it. Just take those that you want and move on.

No one really cares if you double major.

I know for double majoring in LSA and Engineering, you have to take like 160 credits versus the regular 120.

To double in Bschool and any other school, you need 150 credits.

Can you apply to both Ross and the CoE at the same time?
