Double majoring in Comp Sci and English?

Does this sound feasible? I understand comp sci is one of the most time-consuming degrees. I plan on taking comp sci through CLAS as I'm not sure I can handle the engineering core alongside an English major.

I'm interested in applying to law school and have an intense passion for literature/writing. I'm fairly confident I could easily handle the English coursework based on my performance thus far. I've only recently become fascinated with Computer Science, but I've been familiarizing myself with the field as well as with programming and it's something I really enjoy so far. I'm also fairly strong in math.

Basically I want to study computer science, but I'm leaning more towards law school than a career in software engineering. Literature/writing is my primary passion, so it's something I want to study and I think it would help on the LSAT.

Does this sound doable?

No, it doesn’t sound feasible. You need to pick a direction for your life, not try to go three directions at the same time. Do you want to be a writer, lawyer, or computer programmer? Pick one. You can program or write as a hobby later. You’re going to end up taking too many credits and will be too busy to handle computer science or law school, while taking a completely unrelated major.

What about a minor in English?

I’m not sure if I want to be a computer programmer. I enjoy math and programming (so far), but I’m leaning more towards law school than working as a computer programmer.

Also both comp sci and English could be used towards law school, so I wasn’t planning on going off in three directions :)
