Double Majoring in Engineering and Computer Science

Greetings! I am a 21 year old who has just returned to college after a two year hiatus. Namely because I had to work to pay off some my tuition so I could return. But that's for another topic.

Now I've returned to college, I am still a freshmen going into my second year. Most of my general education courses have been completed. If not, this year will just about complete all of them.

I am currently enrolled in Calculus, Logic and Reasoning, and a couple of other basic classes. My major is computer science. But I've been giving it a lot of thought and I believe I want to double major in Engineering and Computer Science AND try to minor in Information Technology.

I am fascinated with technology and would love an opportunity to learn all I can about all aspects from the physical to the internal data structure. I am also becoming more and more interested in robotics and applied mathematics/science.

In short that is why I decided I want to double major in computer science and engineering while trying to get a minor in Information Technology.

I'm sure there will be colorful criticism, but I would like to hear what anyone has to say. What can I expect from this? What are your experiences if any? Why should I not do this? Why is doing this a good thing?

Thank you for your time!
