Hello, there

Can anyone tell me the names of academically challenging colleges that have good programmes in both English and Japanese, but specifically English?

I have a 4.0 GPA (UW) and am interested in more selective colleges like Carleton (32% accepted) than in places which accept 90%-almost all of their applicants. I am most likely planning to move to New England for college.

Any help would be much appreciated!

cornell is very very strong in english as well as japanese. There's also a very strong japanese presence on campus, this may aid with the learning experience.

If you're really into japanese, you can do the 'Falcon' program at cornell - 1 year of really intense study of the language where from day 1 you're heavily involved and the program ends with classes in Japan (or china, depending on the language you choose).

I only suggested Cornell becuase I'm familiar with its programs, there's plenty of solid schools out there.

Thank you for your reply

Any others?
