Physics and Astrophysics is one major offered at FSU, not two separate ones. Anyway, I am very interested in both of these subjects. I'm stuck between deciding on a Philosophy/Physics and astrophysics double major and a Chinese minor or a Physics and Astrophysics major with a double minor in Philosophy/Chinese. Anyone had experience with double-majoring two unrelated fields or specifically with a combination similar to this?

Generally, it is not a great idea to take an extra year just to get a second major. If you can do it in the nominal 4 years because of AP credit or something, then you should look into it. Alternatively, if you have credits to spare, you might want to look into doing a B.S./M.S. combination. You should also factor into the equation your plans for after graduation. If you plan on an advanced degree in physics or astrophysics, you might want to take the extra courses you have available and do more research.
