Double Majoring in UF Engineering

So I know it’s possible to double or even triple major if you’re in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and they have a site set up explaining how it works (https://www.advising.ufl.edu/academicinfo/duals-and-doubles/), but I can’t find anything about the College of Engineering.

I’m still trying to make a decision on where to go, so does anyone know if it’d be possible to do, for example, a double major in Computer Science(the one offered in the CoE) and Mechanical Engineering through the College of Engineering?

In general, you can’t double major with two engineering majors.

One exception is the dual ME/AE program.

You may be able to earn a “Second Major” if you take the CS major in CLAS and not COE.

Otherwise, a better option (that double majoring in Engineering) is the combined degree programs. Instead of taking the additional classes for the 2nd major, you take master level classes and earn your BS/MS in 5 years, instead of a BS in 4 years.

You’ll find a MS in your (engineering) field would be more useful than a double major.
