Double majoring outside of home college

Is double majoring outside of home college possible?
I'm in MCS but what if I want to major in something non-science related majors?
Thanks for the help

Doable and fairly common, actually.

If you want to major in some other college beside your home college, i believe you have to apply for that college. Did i get that right or no?
i see current students associated with two colleges–whats with that?

you dont have to apply for that college, just talk to ur adviser and take some classes in that major. Its easy

DS is dual in SCS and ECE - so yes it’s possible, but you need to plan your courses.

so dual in MCS with non science college (humanities or business) is that possible? (with pre planning and APs?)
is the difference between dual degree and dual major then?

One of my friends picked up a psychology major almost by accident while majoring in an engineering field.
