I have been doing full-time dual enrollment at my local university for the past year and half, so by the time I am (hopefully) at UC, I should have completed an associates degree. I want to double major in Marketing and Industrial Design in the hopes of working in business or experience design in the future. Would it be possible to do this? I have already had an internship where I worked 30 hours a week for 10 weeks so I feel like I could handle the co-op schedule, but I know that DAAP classes are a different matter entirely. Has anyone ever completed a dual degree/double major while enrolled in DAAP?
I know my goal is certainly ambitious, and I do not want to underestimate the difficulty of the DAAP program. However, I want to stay true to myself and my goals in regards to design, and I do not feel I will be able to do that without education in both domains. Thank you for your time
