Hey you guys I was just wondering what you all thought about a double major in Anthropology and Public Relations. Anthropology is something I won't give up because it has always been something that interests me. However, my mom is worried about me graduating schoool with no job because im majoring in something thats not pre med or pre law or etc. I thought that Public Relations was a happy medium, I had more of a guarantee for a job than Anthropology and I can incorporate something that doesn't seem boring. DO you think the two majors would work or any suggestions?!

Sounds fine and as a mom, I agree. I’d want my child to major in something they can actually lead to employment or plan on grad school.

By the way, there is no pre-law curriculum/major/pre-reqs required to apply to law school. There are many pre-reqs you need when applying to med school and various other majors.

Sounds like you want to major in Anthropology because you have an interest, not planning a career. You may want to investigate what goes well with Anthropology or what you can do with it, then pick a second major… or pick another major you like and take anthropology courses as a minor, major or just for fun!
