Double Majoring

I am currently a senior in High School and deciding what I want major in. I am really interested in Psychology and Neuroscience and I was hoping to double major in these two. I was wondering how difficult this would be at Pitt since the majors are closely related. Will I die and be overwhelmed/ have no life? I want to have a social life but I am willing to put the extra work forth to double major and still have a social life. Will this be possible? Any input would be nice. Thanks for the help.

My son triple majored (in closely related topics). He came into school with credits from APs which helped free him up from gen ed. requirements but even without that the double major would have been easy enough. In science it’s a little harder because of the lab time but I am sure you can figure it out.

And FWIT son was very involved in activities, went to plenty of parties, has a girlfriend, etc. He never seemed that stressed. He worked hard but he had a life.

Awesome! thank you so much. I feel a little less stressed about it. I am able to get out of my foreign lang req bc i took french in high school. Plus i figured out I could make 3 of my courses for the majors overlap

It should be one of the easier combinations and there is a bit of overlap. Psychology classes will seem like blow off classes compared to the ones in the Neuroscience major.
