I've been contemplating doing a double major in Political Science and Economics, now for starters, would that completely rule out having a social life of any sort at Berkeley, or is there hope for those who want fun and a double major, (Yes I do realize I am probably being too optimistic about that).

Poli sci is not THAT difficult of a major at Cal. Econ is a little more difficult, but it shouldn't be too hard combining the two.

Whew, thats a relief

If you ain't an engineering major, you'll have a life at cal.

Alekzandr,

I can't imagine that Cal poli sci is terribly more difficult than UCLA poli sci, so I think you're actually making an excellent choice.

The truth is that a lot of econ and poli sci overlap these days anyway. I mean, political economy just goes to show you how related the fields really can be. And if you ever want to go into poli sci for graduate study, having a solid econ background will help you a great deal.

you could just do PEIS...
