Double majoring

Can it be done with a bio math double major to still get a gpa of 3.5+? Or is the workload too much to handle?

A friend of mine doing premed stuff told me i just wouldn't have the time to study for both subjects, what do you other premed students think?

D is pre-med and bio and Orgo have been intense, weed out classes. However, she has time to do 2 minors, but they are easy. Math major might be much more involved. Pre-med requires very high GPA. 3.5 is not a good goal, aim at 3.7 - 4.0 if you want to get into Med. School. No sense to do pre-med and end up with lower GPA.

It’s definitely possible, I’ve seen plenty of people with such combination of double major and get a 3.8+. But whether you can do it or not only you can answer. There’s no point in asking such a question to other people who don’t know much about your background and abilities.

Definitely possible, but like all majors it depends on you and your talents. I’m a sophomore Chemistry/Math double major and honestly, my GPA would be lower if I weren’t. My BCPM is >3.9 while my GPA is about 3.7. Math isn’t that much work if you have the inclination for it, unless you’re at some place like Harvard taking courses like Math 55. Chemistry takes a decent amount of studying and lab time, probably comparable to biology, but it’s not overwhelming.
