I've been thinking about a major in art history as well as physics (I know these don't really overlap but I have a passion for both). Would the differences make it difficult to do because of the core curriculum? Is it possible to do a "concentration" in art history rather than an actual major? I applied Sunday with Physics as my intended major.

You can major or concentrate in as many things as you want, you just have to fulfill all the dept requirements.

I think you can minor or double major in art history probably. People here are EXTREMELY motivated and often do double majors in unrelated fields (commonly, CS and political science). The core will make it challenging, but people do it (perhaps too much).
