Double Matriculation?

I'm in the middle of a last minute financial aid crisis, and I won't hear about my aid package appeal until well after the matriculation deadline. I am appealing aid at my first choice school. My second choice school offers a comfortable aid package.

I can...

a) accept admission to my first choice school and risk not being able to afford it when my appeal is denied in a few weeks.
b) accept admission to my second choice school and live with it.
c) accept admission to both schools and drop out of one after the aid decision has been made.

I wonder if (c) is even possible/legal/ethical. Regardless, what are your opinions?

Thank a bunch!

This question comes up a lot here. What exactly does the form for the acceptance of school one say? To reserve your spot? Or that you are making a binding committment? I dont think you are risking a lot by calling school one (if you can get through today) and ask them for an extension based on finaid appeal.
