Double up Bio and Org Chem

D is a rising CS premed sophomore at Vandy. The more I talk to parents who have premed kids or parents who have CS kids, I am concerned how her next semester is going to go. D will have bio and org chem, as well Data structures, PSY and a writing class.

So far, the only A- she has is from cal3. She had Chem 1, 2, physics 1, cal 3, sociology and her engineering/CS classes. Her GPA is 3.97.

Is doubling up bio and org chem a GPA suicide?? Anyone with similar experience? She also has a very active social and EC life.

what Bio in particular? Yr One Bio or advanced course BIo? Data Structure is a Fr/So level class even pre CS will take I guess. GPA suicide? if one only takes easy class and 4.0 it is another way of GPA suicide fro premed. Vandy is a good school, 3.6 or above is good enough if she is taking challenging courses.
