Doubling with MCB?

I'm really interested in medicine but I also have a passion in the Brain and mind. Afer taking presti's class MCB 61, I now want to do psychology.

Would MCB and Psych be "HELL". Not sure what emphasis in MCB. I was thinking Infectous Diseases. Would that be doable with Psych?

Something's telling me to do MCB Neuro and Psych but not sure if I want to know about all those stuff about the brain, but I think MCB neuro would be easier with psych than MCB infectious diseases + psych.....:/

Hmmm, what do you all think?

Why don’t you major in psych and take the premed classes as well?

I doubled with MCB and it was fun :)

Just take all the MCB/psych classes that interest you and decide later. If you take the neurobiology lecture class and then decide to go with infectious diseases, it’ll still count for an elective.

@ flutterlfy, how many upper divs were you taking during the semester/summer. Did you have time to do research and what not. :)

I took classes the summer after freshman year and researched full time the other two summers. I doubled with econ which had 8 upper division requirements and did the MCB BMB track which only had about 6. My schedules balanced out pretty nicely, I never took more than 2 MCB classes at a time.
