Doubt in October International SAT!

Hi guys, i gave the October International SAT. I have a doubt.. it's about a question, which is not hard per se, but weird, i'm worried i read it wrong; it was something along the lines:

You're given 3 triangles: 2 of them are equilateral, and their sides are given ( 6,6,6 and 10,10,10 ), and you're given a 3rd triangle which shares 2 of the sides of the respective equilateral traingles( 6 and 10) AND it is also at a right angle, which implies the final side(x) is 8. Get me so far?

But the answer choices were weird, something like

What is the length of the side x ( which i think is 8) :

8<x<9
9<x<10
etc etc

i chose point A, but i really didn't get why the answers were in form of inequalites :O anyone remember this question?

no…i’m afraid it’s not. It was a right angel between 6&10, so the side X should be between 11 and 12

the answer was 11.6, so 11<x<12.

Damn it! Stupid mistake! How much do you think 3 wrong and 1 omit (-4.75) will be? Around 720?

700/710, I think.

I’m just guessing though.

All right, thanks!

The answer was 11.66 something but College Board was wrong to me, they put 11<=x<12, It wasn’t equal to 11 at all. It was 11.66 and @User22. I had 1 wrong and three omit in my last SAT and got a 710 but that was in January I think the curves are more lenient for October.
