I’m applying to fullerton for this upcoming fall, it is pretty high up on my list
Probably ties with SFSU and Cal Poly Pomona/SLO (I’ve lived in slo the last 3 years and am pretty over it though. Don’t think I could do 2 more here…)
What’s the nightlife like at Fullerton? Is downtown pretty small or is there a lot to do? I’m 21 obviously.
Fullerton is one of many small cities in the greater LA metroplex. Being that it’s in northern Orange County, it’s next to Anaheim, Santa Ana, and a short drive to Costa Mesa, Irvine, Huntington Beach. Going north you’ll be in the Hacienda Heights and Chino Hills area of LA County. I’m sure there are more than enough things to do to keep you busy.
I am from that area so I’m very familiar. Right north of CSUF is Brea. There is a good bit of nightlife near Break Mall and in the downtown area. Taps Brewery on Imperial Hwy in Brea is a popular destination.

New bar in Fullerton and it’s awesome! This place has a full bar and lots of draft beer selections.
This place has an awesome vibe without the craziness of downtown Fullerton. Totally suggest it for locals that want a chill watering hole to call their own.
Word to the wise try the “Lick My Chile” drink…so good!
